流域水资源与生态环境科学湖北省重点实验室 (以下简称实验室)依托长江水利委员会长江科学院建设。实验室于2011年12月获湖北省科技厅批复,2014年9月通过建设期验收。 实验室围绕湖北省及长江流域水利发展的科技需求,致力于流域水循环与水旱灾害、水资源综合管理与配置、水生态修复与水环境治理、 水工程生态影响、水土保持与流域生态恢复、水利信息化与环境遥感等领域的研究,为湖北省及长江流域水资源开发与生态环境保护提供科学依据和技术支撑。

       Hubei Key Laboratory of Water Resources & Eco-Environmental Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the "Lab") is based on the Changjiang River Science Research Institute of the Changjiang Water Resources Commission. The Lab was approved by Department of Science and Technology of  Hubei Province in December 2011 and passed the acceptance inspection in September 2014. The Lab is dedicated to research in the fields of water cycle and water disasters, comprehensive management and allocation of water resources, water ecological restoration and water environment governance, ecological impact of water conservancy engineering, soil and water conservation and ecological restoration of river basin, and information technology and environmental remote sensing, to provide scientific basis and technical support for water resources development and ecological environmental protection in Hubei Province and the Changjiang River Basin.

       结合国家需求、湖北省水利建设与长江科学院学科发展情况,实验室设置了流域水循环规律与水旱灾害、流域水资源综合管理与优化配置、流域水环境治理与生态修复、 水工生态影响与生态水工、水利信息化与环境遥感等5个研究方向。经过10多年的建设和发展,实验室已形成以学术带头人为核心、以中青年博士为主体的人才队伍,实验室固定研究人员110余人,博士化率达到80%,基本形成了一支精英荟萃、 实力雄厚、专业齐全、学科交叉、结构合理、凝聚力强、交叉协作、能打硬仗的科研队伍。

      Combining the national needs, the water conservancy construction of Hubei Province, and the discipline development of the Changjiang River Science Research Institute, the laboratory has set up five research directions: the laws of water cycle and water disasters in river basins, comprehensive management and optimal allocation of water resources in river basins, water environment treatment and ecological restoration in river basins, the impact of hydraulic ecology and eco-hydro engineering, and water conservancy informatization and environmental remote sensing. After more than 10 years of construction and development, the laboratory has formed a talent team led by academic leaders and consisting mainly of young and middle-aged doctors. There are more than 110 fixed researchers in the laboratory with a doctor degree rate of 80%. A highly elite, powerful, comprehensive, interdisciplinary, structurally reasonable, cohesive, cross-disciplinary, and capable of fighting hard battles research team has basically been formed.

       实验室近5年,围绕湖北省、长江流域水利发展的科技需求,承担了包括国家自然科学基金、科技支撑计划课题、国际合作项目、国家软科学、水利部公益向行业专项等国家级、省部级重点科研项目150余项,总经费达13300余万元;获得23项国家及省部级科技奖励,获得专利33项,发表论文300余篇(其中三大检索200余篇),出版专著33本。在流域水循环分布式模拟、水旱灾害评估和预报、水资源综合管理、梯级水库联合优化调度、河流健康评价、污染水体生态修复、水土流失与面源污染防控、数字流域与仿真等方面的研究成果水平在国内处于先进或领先水平。

       In the past five years, the laboratory has undertaken over 150 national and provincial/ministerial key research projects, including National Natural Science Foundation, Science and Technology Support Program projects, international cooperation projects, National Soft Science Projects, and Public Welfare Projects for the Water Conservancy Industry, with a total funding of over 133 million yuan; it has won 23 national and provincial/ministerial science and technology awards, obtained 33 patents, and published over 300 papers (including over 200 papers indexed by major databases), and published 33 monographs. Its research achievements in distributed simulation of water cycle in river basin, assessment and forecast of water and drought disasters, comprehensive management of water resources, joint optimization scheduling of cascading reservoirs, evaluation of river health, ecological restoration of polluted water bodies, control of soil and sediment loss and non-point source pollution, and digital river and simulation are at an advanced or leading level in China.
