Foreign Diplomats in China visit Yangtze River Flood Control Model

　On January 16, the diplomats of Kenya, Egypt, Turkey, Ethiopia and Indonesia in China, performing an investigation on the scientific research and construction of water resources in the Yangtze River Basin at the invitation of MWR, visited the Yangtze River Flood Control Model in Zhuankou scientific research base of CRSRI accompanied by Mr. Long Chaoping, assistant chief engineer of CRSRI and Dr. Zhu Yonghui of River Sediment Department.

Mr. Long and Dr. Zhu introduced the simulation range and researching focus of model, as well as the advanced measuring & controlling system and 3D digital simulation system used for the model, and answered the questions put forward by the guests. The guests were very impressed by the visit and gave highly praise for the great model.
